Henning Mohr

Subsequent Position

Henning Mohr began his work in September 2016 at the Science Management Unit of the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum. There he coordinated INTRAFO, a project to test an intrapreneurship approach for research museums. In the model project, which is unique in Germany (funded by the BMBF), new approaches should be developed with which the innovative capacity of museums can be improved on the basis of creative ideas of the employees. Since Henning Mohr's dissertation dealt with the integration of artistic-creative strategies into the structural change of the Ruhr Area, such methods were also incorporated into the model project. A personal focus of interest is the field of Cultural Entrepreneurship. The project therefore also addressed the question of how cultural institutions can cooperate more specifically with companies in the cultural and creative industries in order to improve their own future viability.
